GIJ SRC embarks on a reformational campaign




The Students' Representative Council at the Ghana Institute of Journalism as part of its efforts to promote sanity on campus has signalled students to refrain from acts deemed ungood for the school.

In short notices pasted across Lecture Halls, the S.R.C. is cautioning students to desist from the 'habitual' littering on campus, and the 'deliberate' mishandling of mounted electrical gadgets.



In addition, the S.R.C. has advised students to dress in a way they would want to be addressed.

The GIJ-SRC Reformational Campaign came into light following apparent activities of students in revenr times, believed to be sending 'negative signals' of the school to the Public.

Some students at the Ghana Institute of journalism have lauded the SRC for their reformational moves on campus. According to them, it is a step in the right direction and ought to be obeyed.



Meanwhile, the S.R.C. is 'unhappy' with directives from Management to lock all Lecture Halls on Campus after the class without their consent.

A directive which did not go down well with the Students' Representative Council prompted them to issue a statement on Monday, February 12, 2018 calling on students to remain calm as they dialog with the school's administration to lift such directives.
