The GIJ-SRC in collaboration with Marie Stopes International Ghana Youth Advisory is organizing a “Straight Talk About Sex” for students at the Ghana Institute of Journalism on Tuesday, 20th February, 2018.
As part of activities marked for the S.R.C. Week Celebration of the Institute, Executives of the GIJ-SRC is collaborating with Marie Stopes International Ghana Youth Advisory to organize this programme for students on the theme "Turning Taboo Topics into Everyday Talk"
At 11:40 am, Lecture Hall D5 will be set up the for the programme and during this session, issues of sex which are 'hard to speak on' in our part of the world shall be addressed.
There will be other activities at the forecourt of the Institute which includes; NHIS Card Renewal and a health screening exercise on diseases such as diabetes, Blood Pressure, among others.
The launch of the GIJ S.R.C. week Celebration took place on Monday, 20th February, 2018, followed with a career session where speakers from the media fraternity in the person of Manasseh Azure, Umaru Sanda, and the MP. for Klole Klottey Constituency, Dr.Zenator Rawlings, who took their time in speaking to students on the topic "From Classroom to Career; what the handout won't tell you".
