It is emerging that respected Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy will be parting ways with record label company, Zylofon Media soon.
According to Ghanacelebrities.com report, Stonebwoy is not happy with some current happenings between him and his record company.
A source who spoke to Ghanacelebrities.com on condition of anonymity disclosed that although he does not know the details of Stonebwoy’s contract, the artiste will check out very soon.
The grand signing of Stonebwoy’s closest competitor, Shatta Wale by Zylofon Media according to some speculations could be one of the many factors, although the record company has apologized to the Bhim Nation President.
The Public Relations Officer of Zylofon Media, Sammy Baah who spoke to Kumasi-based Abusua FM months ago said, “We apologize to fans of Stonebwoy for that.
Nobody intends to give prominence to one over other artists.” He added that all artistes are their top priority and not only Shatta Wale.
The 30-year-old dancehall artiste in June last year, signed a record deal with Zylofon Media in Accra.
However, the music company has also signed on Shatta Wale in a more juicy deal which many say his signing has undermined Stonebwoy.
A development many suspect Stonebwoy and his team feels uncomfortable with, and therefore considering to part ways with Zylofon Music sooner than expected.
